Dear Modeh Ani community,
It has been a deeply meaningful experience for us to have you all joining us at past three years for the Modeh Ani run, in memory of our beloved son Libi Barak.
While we intended to conduct this event annually, we will not be holding the race this year, due to the the complexity of the current situation in Israel.
With prayers for peace and the quick return of the hostages, we hope to resume the coming together of this community in Libi's memory next year.

The Modeh-Ani Run is in Honor of Libi Barak, a courageous and smart little 6-year-old boy. Libi was a funny, brave, sweet, beautiful, caring, and loving boy who courageously fought brain cancer (DIPG) from July 8, 2018 to February 12, 2019. Libi was both born and separated from us on the same Hebrew date, 7 Adar (ז' באדר), which according to the Bible, is the date of both the birth and death of Moshe Rabbeinu.
